1. Acknowledgment of Risks
I, the undersigned participant, acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in the Tanzania safari trip organized by Emily Scott of Two Dusty Travelers. I understand that this trip involves visiting remote areas, including the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, spending time with indigenous hunter/gatherer tribes, and traveling on roads that may be rough or unpaved. I am aware that these activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Exposure to wild animals in their natural habitats.

• The possibility of injury or illness due to the remote locations and limited access to medical facilities.

• Rough and potentially hazardous road conditions during long drives.

• Physical strain or injury related to walking in diverse terrains, including uneven or steep areas.

• Interaction with indigenous tribes in settings that may be unfamiliar.

2. Assumption of Risk
I willingly assume all risks associated with this trip, whether identified in this document or not. I understand that these risks can lead to injury, illness, or death and that I am participating in this trip at my own risk.

3. Release of Liability
In consideration of being permitted to participate in this trip, I hereby release and discharge Two Dusty Travelers, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates, including but not limited to Emily Scott and Rapha Expeditions, from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, illness, death, or damage that I may suffer during the course of the trip. This release includes but is not limited to liability arising from the negligence of the released parties.

4. Participant Responsibilities
I understand that I am responsible for arriving on time for all flights and connections related to this trip. I acknowledge that any delay or missed flights, whether due to my actions or circumstances beyond my control, may result in additional costs, missed activities, or changes to the itinerary. I agree that I am solely responsible for any expenses or disruptions caused by missed flights, including but not limited to additional transportation, accommodation, or activity costs.

I also understand that I am responsible for my own baggage and any loss, damage, or delay in the arrival of my baggage. Two Dusty Travelers is not responsible for any inconvenience, expense, or disruption caused by lost, delayed, or damaged baggage.

I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for obtaining and carrying a valid passport (valid for at least 6 months beyond my travel dates), all necessary visas, and any required medical vaccinations or health certificates required by the government of Tanzania. Emily Scott and Two Dusty Travelers are not liable if I am denied entry into the country.

5. Hiking Activities
I acknowledge that hiking may be a part of this trip and that it could take place in various terrains, including uneven, steep, or otherwise challenging areas. I am aware that hiking carries inherent risks, including falls, sprains, strains, and other injuries. I confirm that I am physically fit and prepared to engage in these activities and that I will follow all instructions provided by the trip leader and guides. I accept full responsibility for my participation in hiking activities and any injury or accident that may occur.

6. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Two Dusty Travelers, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses, including attorney's fees, arising out of my participation in this trip.

7. Medical Authorization
In the event of an emergency, I authorize Emily Scott and her agents to obtain medical treatment for me as deemed necessary. I understand that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

8. Insurance
I understand that it is my responsibility to obtain travel insurance that covers the activities involved in this trip, including emergency medical evacuation, in case of injury, illness, or other unforeseen events.

9. Governing Law
This waiver and release shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising from this trip must be filed exclusively in the courts of Washington State.

10. Entire Agreement
This document constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any prior understanding or representations.

11. Severability
If any provision of this waiver is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
